Good: Amazing sense of style on very aspect of the game, Artistically the game looks amazing, The Soundtrack is one of the best in Gaming, The Story is thrilling and quite comical, all of the characters are very well done, All of the sounds are very good, You feel like your in 80's Miami, Amazing atmosphere

GTA Vice CIty is a great game. It still holds up today and anyone who didnt get to play it should right now. Some aspects dont hold up too well but the aspects that do shine are just very well done.
Its obvious that this isnt the best looking game. Technically the game isnt so ugly but there are a lot of rough edges and boxy areas in the game. The character models dont look too good either. Artistically speaking GTA is just easy to look at. the 80's theme fits so well. everything from the cars to everyones clothes look very authentic to the time period. They have a very bright estetic and look just fantastic. On some of the buildings there are neon lights and they look beautiful.
The story is one of the most well written games ever. It involves a guy named Tommy who gets screwed over while doing a job and he has to rise up to get high in power. The story makes little nudges to scarface that are great without just trying to clone it. Every character you meet has a great dialogue and the game can be quite histarical. The actors who are voicing the characters are some celebrities like micheal madison, Jenna Jemison, and many more. Ray Liota does an incredible job as Tommy Vercetii.
The game is structered quite openly. You can do missions to progress in the story or you can just create random maihem. The free roaming aspect is fun but is better done in later games like san andreas or GTA IV. This is because the aiming system isnt too good and that the melee is just not to well either. The shooting isnt too bad but it never lets you freely aim for most guns and you will sometimes aim random pedestians near. The Melee isnt very dynamic either so you will just keep mashing on the attack button untill someone looses.
The Driving in the game is done pretty well. The physics may seem a little stiff for the cars at first but once you get used to it you will be driving pretty well. The cars look pretty good because all of the textures on the cars look pretty good and the lights on the cars also look good.
Missions in the game are fun but nothing amazing becuase most of the missions will have you shooting and some will have you fighting. Other missions will have you driving to chase someone or try and run form someone. The shooting missions are really easy becuase all you need to do is just target your enemies and fire away. The Driving missions are a bit harder and are the better parts of the game.
THe weapon selection in the game is pretty slick because there is a huge number of guns to select. Their are your typical machine guns and pistols and shotguns. but there are your other weapons which are Machetes, Gernades and chainsaws.
Personally I think the best soundtrack in gaming is in this game. There is just so many hit songs that are in this game. Everything form Micheal Jackson to Flock of Seagul are just so amazing that you will just want to Jack cars so that you can just listen to the soundtrack. The DJ's are also well done because they are very entertaining and funny to listen too.
I didnt mention everything about the game but I just edged on what stuck out to me and what aspects really mattered. GTA isnt perfect but it is still a really good and fun game. If you havent been to the 1980's vice city you owe it to yourself to make a trip soon.
