Uncharted 2 is a third person shooter that was released exclusively for the Playstation 3. Its main character Nathan Drake is a treasure hunter, who is always having everything go wrong for him. On this journey with Drake is Victor Sullivan, his partner who is from the previous Uncharted. He has his love interest Elena Fisher who is a journalist who had a relationship with Drake in Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. The new character that is teaming up with Drake is Chloe Frazer who is from Drakes past but we do not know much about.
So the game starts off with Nathan on a beach front when a man named Harry Flynn comes to offer Nathan a job to steal an ancient artifact. At first Nathan is skeptical but decides to join Flynn with the help of Chloe Frazer. So you go off to steal the artifact when you find out the person who wants it is Zoran Lazarevic. Who is a mass murderer and wants it to find the way to an ancient world known as Shambala. Now I don't wanna give too much away, so I'll talk about the visuals.
There is so much I can say about the graphics in this game but one word sums it up......Amazing. The graphics in Uncharted 2 are the probably the best I've ever seen. I mean the colors are so vibrant by the way the sun illuminates the trees. The faces on the characters are so realistic and it helps toward connecting to the characters. Now graphics don't make a games but it made the experience so much better.
The gameplay in Uncharted 2 is pretty great, its got a solid cover system. Still not as great as Gears of War, but its good. Now there really isnt too many guns you have the basic ak47, m4, Shotgun, Pistol, Deagel, Uzi, Sniper, Grenader Launcher, and grenades.
This game has plenty of reasons to play through the campaign more than once. There is a shop offline and an online shop. The offline includes: Tweaks, Extra Clips, Concept Art, etc. And the online shop has tons of character models, Perks, Co-Op upgrades, etc.
This game is awesome I gave it a 5 out of 5 because it is so exciting and exhilarating. If you have a ps3 check out this title when you can it is definitely worth it.
