Dunk Hunt is a light gun game that utilizes that piece of hardware, and is a solid package. You pop in the cart, then point your gun at the screen and wait for duck to start flying in the open. Your main goal is to hit as much ducks flying by as you can, to get the highest score. This concept is actually made fun, and the enjoyable can last for hours, especially with a friend by your side, as well as two light guns.
The control for Duck Hunt is fairly explanatory and takes no time to learn. You point your gun at the screen and pull the trigger when you are aimed a the duck, and the hit detection is extremely good, and works like a charm every time. The game is set up in rounds with a limited amount of ducks coming out during the round, then tallies your points at the end. The look of this game is very nice to look at, with the background staying the same throughout the whole game, with ducks actually falling with your gun being aimed at the duck.
Duck Hunt can start to get stale, as you do the exact same thing through the whole game, but is still fun for an hour or two every sit down or day or two. By no means is Duck Hunt bad, it is a solid and fun game, just not much of a package, but still a very fun experience.
