i had high hopes for this game before I picked it up. When I actually played it, Arkham Asylum surpassed my expectations in the graphics, gameplay, and the natural feel of the controls. I don't want to spoil this game by telling you too much about it. The riddles are very fun to solve so I like that there are 240 of them. From the opening scene this game is beautiful, fun, challenging but not too hard, and very smooth. Load time is next to nothing and the story is seamless. I recommend buying this one, and since you get detailed maps in the game the book isn't a necessity.
