SSBB is a great game with fantastic graphics and superb gameplay, yet unless you have a buddy, you can't really be entertained with it. Nintendo added a story mode, but it wasn't so great of a story, and the levels were way to challenging. While this game is so spectacular, it's gradually getting more and more boring. Especially after you've unlocked all the characters and stages. Well after that, what else are you trying to do, the point is, games can't rely on multiplayer gameplay. That's something Nintendo's SSB team has never realized after 3 games in the series. As a nice critic, I give the game 4 stars, but it truly deserves no more.
