In Vice City Stories you play as Vic Vance taking place in 1984. He
needs money to help his sick brother and his drug addicted mother. You
start out at an army base and do some missions for your sergeant which
is pretty much getting him coke and picking up hookers. After getting
kicked out of the army for doing this you now must work for people on
the streets of Vice City.
The graphics and sound of the game is pretty good. Surprisingly
Rockstar games could fit such a huge game on a small system. However,
there are a few problems. When you are speeding down a street sometimes
the buildings and surroundings start to loose their detail and things
just turn invisible having you sometimes crashing into a wall that you
thought wasn't there. The AI is fair at trying to kill you and stuff,
but otherwise very dumb. As in all GTA games there are submissions that
you complete to get bonuses like infinite sprint. There is ad hoc multi
player like defend your base and stuff like that, but no infrastructure.
GTA: VCS is a suprisingly good game for the PSP with it looking like
its more powerful system cousins. It will keep you playing for hours
and if you're a GTA fan then buy it.
