A fantastic FPS game on the Wii.

The Good:
  • The Wii motion controls work amazingly well
  • Incredible boss battles
  • Nice blend between action and puzzles
  • Graphics are some of the best currently available for the Wii

The Bad:
  • The story is very simplistic, and perhaps even a little disappointing
  • Shallow enemy AI

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a fantastic conclusion to the Metroid Prime trilogy. It's the best FPS experience currently available on the Wii, having both excellent gameplay and great looking graphics.
It's got plenty of FPS action, but at the same time, there is an equal amount of puzzles. The action is simple, but entertaining. One problem however, is that you never really need to take cover. Almost all of the time you'll be moving around in open spaces blasting away at your target. Some people can view this as a good thing, however.
Prehaps the biggest flaw of the game is the enemy AI; they're really lacking as far as intelligence goes. Most of the time, they'll just stand in one place and shoot, but occassionally they'll dodge and move around. It'd be much better if they actually took cover.
The graphics in Metroid Prime 3 are simply fantastic. Everything looks amazing, and it's alot of fun to explore the breath-taking enviroments. It's definately one of the best looking games availble for the Wii.

In conclusion, Metroid Prime 3 is an excellent Wii game, and prehaps the best Metroid game of all time.
