The Orange Box is a collection of Valve Software developed games which includes:
- Half-life 2 with HL2: Episode One, Episode Two - collectively almost the length of two whole games. The episodes help to expand the mythology that HL2 is introducing giving you a more epic feel to the universe. Though, Episode One is just kinda "so so" Episode Two picks up a great deal more and leaves you hanging in the end.
- Portal - a fantastic game in it's own right. though very short, it is big on satisfying almost everything a gamer wants in games today. It features unique gameplay mixed within immersive (made up gamer word) storytelling.
- Team Fortress 2 - An online only, team based game. Though i haven't played much of this one the overall design of it alone is inspiring and is a joy ( for those who care about such things) to just go through the developer commentary.
Overall there's something for everyone in this pack and it is a winning combination.
