In my opinion Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was the Sony triple A title of 2007, which is slightly odd given the relative lack of hype around it from Sony upon its release. The structure of the game is pretty simple, effectively a blend of exploring ruins, a la Tomb Raider, and ducking behind cover and taking out waves of enemies, eg Gears of War.
