It's been a long time since I last played Zelda: Ocarina of time... in fact it’s been a long time since I played a Nintendo Game (never owned a Gamecube)... now, after a decision of not buying the PS3 until it had games worth the price (or a price cut) I ended up buying the Wii (which is great and fresh).
The first thing I wanted to try were the zelda games... and after playing OOT I can say is still the best Zelda ever (need to play TP).
The game play is great, smooth and very enjoyable. Great balance between combat, puzzles and running back and forth... Good length, depth of story and character development.... The graphics look already a bit dated, but they still hang on pretty well. The only thing that I didn't like is the time I had to spend to get use to play with the classic controller ... In the end replaying Zelda: OOT was a very rewarding experience, even if I had already played it several times a few years ago. If you can, play it, and if its the fist time, don't let this opportunity pass you by.
