Yeah, the title is a bit selfish, I think. Not too sure about that. Heh heh. Anyways!
I've had the game since all the way back in either 2001 or 2002. Can't quite remember when it was that they stopped renting out ps1 games at blockbuster. But that was when I got it for myself over at amazon (was that an advertisement I see!?). Klonoa is the cutest game I've played besides Kirby.
The graphics might not be all that compared to now-a-days, but I love the old school graphics like they had back on the nes(which I still own and play) Mario. ^_^
Honestly, the reason I'm making a review is because I have a slight resentment over the the remake. They changed his design, and that is depressing. I really want to play the second game though, and as soon as I can find a place that sells it in stores, I shall! :D
But back to the 1st one.
There might not be a lot of levels, but it suits my short attention span. Along with the awsome dialect I don't understand! Makes me want to go read a fanfiction. Tee hee.
I just love the ending. I don't want to spoil it, wait, yeah I do! The ending was so sad! That seperation of Huepow and Klonoa was tear-gerking. Especially when Huepow changed his mind and wanted Klonoa to stay.
All in all, The original is the best. The remake ain't THAT great. Original Klonoa has a giant collar! How adorable is that!?
