S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky2008

2 out of 5 stars

Now I know not to listen to the elitist "hardcore" crowd who go about liking everything people hate and hating everything people like because they go out of their way to be different, this seems to be what the fans of Stalker are to me. I played the first game and thought it was a horrible, broken and buggy game that was sooo frustrating because of all the bugs and I hate bugs. So I got into Stalker Clear sky…

Far Cry 22008

3 out of 5 stars

Well it's too late now and will have to wait for the third for improvements, not that Ubisoft are into that kinda thing lol. Well it's not all that bad because I really liked the opening scene of the game and it's one of those moments where you think to yourself "if Half-Life never existed would they have done that?" which is really kool. The game started off very GTA like where it got you to drive from location to…

System Shock 21999

3 out of 5 stars

The thing is about a classic is how it's timeless and never seems to age, System Shock 2 however doesn't have these qualities. Don't get me wrong it's a good game and even better for it's day but theres a problem that games like Half-Life came out before it and although slightly different games, Half-Life just showed System Shock 2 up. See I really like the story and the whole setting of the game, what makes the…

Unreal Tournament 32007

3 out of 5 stars

The problem with UT3 is not that it's worse than the other games because it's much better than them but the fact that it's tooo similar and hasn't changed hardly at all. Keeping the basic format is great like the fantastic weapons and gun play but the problem is there isn't enough changes to make new players interested in UT or old players want to upgrade. I had great fun with my time on UT3 and my fave gameplay…

World of Goo2008

4 out of 5 stars

World of Goo is one of them Mini games on Steam that are cheap casual games, I don't mean for casual gamers but something you can play at work for 5 mins at a time and have lots of fun with it. Basically you just have to get your Goo friends to be sucked up by a tube and you have to create structures with your goo to get them to that pipe. The thing is you use up your Goo to build the structure and get you there and…

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway2008

2 out of 5 stars

This game feels like it should have been released in 2005 rather than 2008 seeing as how it hasn't evolved since the last game what so ever and still has akward controls which get on your nerves while playing the PC version. I find using the squad commands very trickey because quite often I'll want them to attack and yet when I click the order I send them to run over there instead which gets annoying. I also hate…

Mount & Blade2008

1 out of 5 stars

I really like the combat to the game, it's easily one of the best melee combat systems about and you become so engaged in it that you can get lost in arena fights for hours. However Mount and Blade doesn't really offer much else and that's why I can't recommend purchasing the game. If it was a mod to Half-Life 2, then fantastic but actually putting money down for it, you'll need to be in the small group of people…

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning2008

2 out of 5 stars

Rating. 2/5 (the rating system is bugged atm so I have to select 1/5 to show up as 2/5. If Giant Bomb fix the issue and it shows up as 1/5 then that is wrong) Now while Warhammer Online isn't a bad game in terms of Big Rigs is a bad game, however it just shows the poor direction the mmorpg genre is going in which has become stale and really in many ways Warhammer Online has taken a step backwards, not forwards. I…
