I've wanted to play Bully for years and finally I'm able to with the PC release of the game. However the port is so horrible and theres tons of glitches and quite often even with my beefy Rig the Framerate will become unplayable in pieces like the class room mini games or in certain indoor missions. I mean REALLY unplayable like 5 fps and I don't get it because the rest of the game runs smoothly, it's just these certain missions and they pop up quite often. It's what led me to quit the game early because they effect your ability to be able to complete it. I don't understand what Rockstar were thinking when they did this bad port and how they can get away with charging for it is a real bugger.
That said though Bully is a real great game, though a little dated but it has a fantastic story and to those of your who've played GTA3, VC or SA you'll be at home here. It feels like GTA if you were at school and theres all the exploration and real kool mini games, it's also a sandbox setup like GTA but on a smaller scale where you can choose to do the missions whenever you want. There are mini games where you're in class like timed events and having to come up with as many words as you can with a certain amount of letters. However these arn't fun mainly because they become repetitive but also because of framerate issues while trying to play some of them makes them impossible.
The graphics are really dated and horrible because it uses the same GTA 3 engine but what I found is the story and the great voice acting and script more than makes up for that. you want to carry on playing to see what happens. However there are alot of repeated background voice overs that will really piss you off when you hear them again and again.
So yeh Bully is a great game but the terrible port to PC makes alot of it really unplayable.
