If videogames consisted of a genetic code, Darsiders has a pedigree thats to notch. Thats also the games downfall for some players. So many of Darsiders mechanics are taken whole sale from other games that some would consider Darsiders a failure on principle alone. This game is so much like a Zelda game that I'm sure Nintendo at least considered a lawsuit at some point even if they never took the idea seriously. This games takes God of War, Devil May Cry, Zelda, and Portal and throws them in a blender. Normal such expermintation ends with a doctor's visit and your stomach being pumped but this time its turned out to be one of my favorite games so far for 2009. It is genetically impossible for Darsiders to be a bad but. WIth a little more polish it could be 360's God of War.
