If there was a neighborhood with only playstation and xbox360 living side by side you would more often see the playstation gamers looked over the wooden fences or peeking into the holes to see what the 360 is doing. Some of them even hope the fences and go along their side, what makes the matter worst is that sometimes you catch the 360 gamers held a stick over the fences and at the end there's a little string attracts to 360 controller. But this time its our turn to this with a little enjoyment with games finally have something better on the PSN rather then having the 360 left overs on their 360 live. As you might already heard fat princess has finally arrive to the PSN and boy it had made a big impact just in its opening week being number one on the PSN market. But what makes fat princess so appealing to gamers other then its colorful characters and its designs?
Well basically if i have to discribe the game its more like capture the flag, each team have to capture the flag but to substitute the flag you have to capture the princess while protecting off attacks while they capture your princess. It follows along the lines of a strategy game as its ancestors did with gathering materials to improve upgrades for your offensive and defensive units in battle. Along with the same idea of different type of classes that players can choose from picking up a hat from the ground, These classes are no different from what we seen from other type of strategy games. So don't be suprise to see the same type of classes but with a different name for them, other then that you get the usual ones like worker,warrior, mage, village, and priest. All of them has their own action and parts that can be use during the match, for instance the worker its no different from its definition from the dictory it gathers martial from stone and wood to make better upgrades for its units. its more like a support unit then a fighter but it does its part and can be handy to build defenses like doors for your castle.
Fat Princess offers different varieties online which makes your entertaining experiences more fun at the same time interesting, it brings seven antique modes which players can find amusing and challenging as they go head to head against each other. These modes usually included the most of the common one which would team deathmatch but the six other are surprisingly different rescue the princess,snatch n grab, team deathmatch, invasion,glaciate and legend of the fat princess. With the exception of being a good online game it does have its problems, sometimes the game cant find a match or it gets a little lag during the match.
The Graphics of the game is not out of this world style so if your expecting something great well this might not fit in your your expectation. It takes similar feel to team fortress style with its cartoonist type characters class and world overall it just looks ''OK'' to me. The game play i felt easy to really get into its not that hard to master after a few matches online and in single player so anyone can pick it up right away.
I think everyone will enjoy the entertaining experiences of fat princess from all ages, its cartoonist characters and world are appealing. The game play is easy for anyone that haven't pick up controller to understand and i find more fun to play this game online. Despite its here and there problems with the lack of interest of single player mode and match making situation i find this game very good. I think that anyone that has a Playstation 3 console should pick this up or at least try the demo.
