Less is more. That's a phrase that this game has never heard of.

The focus on the loot system, which permeates every aspect of the gameplay and covers the map in a thousand different chests to open, managed to kill my interest in this one very quickly. There are a ridiculous amount of unlocks, most of which are useless. I enjoyed unlocking new items in the first "Lara Croft" game, because it wasn't happening all the damn time. It felt rewarding because I actually had to work towards them and they were all useful in some way... Less is more. That's a phrase that this game has never heard of.

It's a shame, because otherwise the game seemed a lot more polished than the other one, at least in the short time I played it. The first 30 minutes of the game had me thinking I was going to love it, but the next 30 minutes made me realise why I don't.
