I wouldn't call it "bad", but it only barely scrapes past it.

Some interesting time-bending powers can't save the game from its terminally unsatisfying shooting mechanics and an uneven difficulty. The level design is repetitive and sometimes oddly structured too, teleporting you somewhere completely different after a loading screen with no explanation. It feels like parts of the game were cut out at late points in development without replacements to fill the gaps, and the story is bad, which doesn't exactly help to compel me forward...

As was typical from the early HD era, the game is extremely brown and bland, which is a style that hasn't aged well, and I don't mean in a technical sense. It's very boring to look at, and the environments don't offer anything unique or exciting, with the exception of some nice rain effects. Poor audio mixing makes subtitles essential too, otherwise voices will be drowned out by environmental noises.

Although the time control abilities keep the gameplay mildly-interesting enough that I wouldn't call it "bad", it only barely scrapes past it. Can't recommend.
