Really average FPS. Average enough that there's not much to say about it. It has its moments of satisfying violent catharsis; but weak weapons, sluggish movement, and sh*tty vehicle sections always pull the game back down to mediocrity. Nothing very interesting is done with the idea of turning into a Strogg in terms of either the story or the gameplay, and after the disturbing stroggification process in the early game it's back to business as usual. The visuals are suitably creepy and striking, but it has no strong identity of its own, and the moment-to-moment gameplay just looks and feels like a Doom 3 mod. It's a competent game when you're on foot, but "competent" is about the highest praise I'd give it. Avoid this one unless you have nothing else to play.
