Nintendo is having problems with it's hardcore audience right now. But just when it seems they are closing the door on us The conduit opens the door guns blazing. Today I picked up The Conduit and I can happily say that it doesn't suck. First the bad.

Like some other reviews have said so far the campain is ok... I'm not too far into it but it seems passable. It's pretty much just run and gun most of the time, with occasional destroy this or download that. Also the frame rate tends to dive  sometimes but not often. Lastly, I did encouner some lag online during world matches but regional matches we're pretty smooth. Oh and friend codes, they suck too..Enough bad lets talk some good.

This is more of something i just thought was funny but The conduit is home to some of the bounciest grenades i have ever seen. I bounced one over some cover to get the guys on the other side, wich was hilarious. Now onto the Ai. It's not terribly bad. If there is no cover around dudes just charge you, but if there is then they will take cover. Most of the time they will take cover but other times they just stand there for an easy head shot.  that could be a bad thing.... but i like getting headshots. I like to because with the wii remote getting them is easy as ever and if your right on the money it's ususally an insta-kill. All of the control options you could ever dream are in this game. If you don't like something odds are you can probably change it. Before reading this review I went to gamepro and read their thoughts on the conduit. They said that it had  "unimpressive graphics and terrible motion controls" (http://www.gamepro.com/article/reviews/210919/the-conduit-page-4-of-4). This pissed me off. I know it's just their opinion but wtf gamepro. Grahpics wise it's no 360 game, but this isn't one it's a wii game. These are the best graphics I have seen on the wii hands down. Motion controls are used for two things, throwing grenades and melee. At first with  melee i thought you had to waggle, wich lead me to belive the melee system sucked, because your crosshair would go everywhere. but after a while i realized u just had to thrust it foward. by doing this youf cursor stays where you want it and u can accurately melee anything. I turned the sensitivity of the melee up so i don't really have to do much work at all and it works quite nice in multiplayer. with grenades all you do is flick the nunchuk and the grenade will go where ever your crosshair is. Providing that there is not something in the way. Multiplayer!!!! Woooo!!! This game has a pretty robust multiplayer component. It has a gaggle of modes within deathmatch,  team deathmatch, and team objective. my favorite so far would have to be ase football. This is just oddball from halo, but It's pretty fun in the conduit. Also bounty hunter is a fun game type wich has you trying to find your target while also trying to find the person who's hunting you. Overall, Multiplayer is great. this is definetly the best multiplayer wii users have seen yet, at least in the shooter market. One last thing. If your a fan of collecting hidden items strewn throughout the campain the conduit does not dissapoint.

With Multiplayer, Achivements, collectibles, and cheats, the conduit has the replay value that surely warrants the fiftly dollar purchase. Even with a slightly dissapointing campain and a few framerate dips, this is definetly a great addition to the sparse collection of multiplayer shooters on the wii.
