So Sega abandoned the Dreamcast and moved on being a 3rd party company to make games on Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft hardware. Games on the Dreamcast would be rereleased on PS2, XBOX and GameCube, Sonic Adventure both 1 and 2 were rereleased for GameCube as upgraded versions of the Dreamcast games with better graphics or a multiplayer mode. Sonic heroes Sonic team's next 3D title for the Sonic franchise is the first Sonic game to be released on multiple consoles with multiple copies sold. Sonic heroes is fun because it's a full 2d Sonic experience brought into 3D unlike the adventure titles. I think Sonic heroes has the most fun gameplay out of any 3D Sonic game to date, the team up mechanic is a interesting idea because your in control of speed, flight, and power type characters that have their own different path ways and secrets to discover. I heard people don't like the game because it's slippery and glitchy, I own the GameCube version and I haven't ran into any glitches but I will admit the characters do control very slippery but it can still be an enjoyable game. Sonic heroes looks gorgeous, It's soundtrack is super upbeat and the different teams have exciting lines of dialogue. Sonic heroes is a very underrated Sonic game and I can understand why, it's not perfect but it's certainly (*OPINION*) a blast, better than Sonic 2, 3, unleashed, generations, and the adventure stuff.
