What made Sonic unleashed so great is back at full force here, unfortunately it's being developed by the same team that made the storybook games. While not nearly as bad its not nearly as good as Sonic Unleashed, either. Colors may have brushed out the problems that not many people liked in Unleashed, but even the high points of this game don't reach the climax that was the absolutely stellar and thrilling day levels from Unleashed, instead replaced with smart but pretty slow platforming that's not equally as fun as the raw speed you could reach in Unleashed. As far as platformers can go, this is probably the best Sonic game on the Wii.
