Guitar Hero 3 is not a bad game. Neversoft takes the formula Harmonix developed and had their first go at making a plastic instrument game. The game does not push the genre forward, it is essentially more of the same. It seems some on screen information has been changed just for the sake of it, but some tweaks streamline navigation, which is welcome. If you enjoy difficulty for its own sake, you will enjoy this game very much, but it may be off putting for those who are not already deep into the Guitar Gero franchise.
