Great port of a classic game

Resident evil on the PS1 was the game that made the survival horror genre. The game launched in '96 and became an instant classic and still scares me to this day. The gameplay is simply great though it takes a while to get used to the controls if you're a newcomer. Though I'm sure most people who buy the DS version are fanboys of the series, there will most likely be newcomers so it will probably take an hour to get fully used to it. The game took me only a little more than 4 hours on my first try and I had never finished it before. So it is a short game but is certainly worth the money since it's only about $15. Also, it contains a new mode that uses the touch screen to solve new puzzles and hack at zombies with a knife. Buy it.
