Introduction

Since the series' first offering, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise has earned the reputation as one of the buggiest games available for PC. Shadows of Chernobyl and Clear Sky both suffered from game breaking, or even occasional severe glitches that greeted players with the dreaded BSOD. If that wasn't enough, its steep learning curve and punishing gameplay alienated many players away from the game.
