1st review and i'll keep it short.
If you have already purchased the other 4 summer of arcade titles, and why wouldn't you? this game is as good as free!
Buying it will then give you an 800 point rebate at the end of August.. I'm probably going to buy me some Space Invaders retro involved Extreme HD Edition Max .
To the actual game though.. It's ok if you loved the snes version then you'll enjoy this. It's very simple to pick up and play even if you've never really played games like it before.
I played the snes version recently so I could judge it against this and my god I love the 3d gameplay of the new ReShelled version.
I find it's actually a plus that there isn't any character progression as I can just hand a pad to my girlfriend, doesn't get smashed because her Castle Crashers character isn't a high enough level.
I'd say it's not really worth 800 points but you can see too much work has gone into it to charge 400 points (the same as the 1st arcade title).
Unless you are getting it as part of the summer of arcade i'd recommend waiting to see if it's a deal of the week any time soon.
