Boring and stupid.

Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos is a puzzle type game for the Xbox Live Arcade. The objective is to collect various items around the world, leading to the capture of Dr. Chaos. At 800 Points, is a simple point and click game worth it?

Liked:

It’s Short: It will only take about an hour and a half before you “finish” it. That is the game’s only real blessing.

Easy Achievements: You can easily grab most of the achievements with ease.

Disliked:

Snoozefest: This game has the most boring gameplay since the text adventure days. It literally requires nothing more than moving the analog stick around and tapping the A button. A blind person could easily finish this game.

Bad Graphics: You are supposed to find very small objects on very blurry, eye-soring backgrounds. At one point, you’re directed to find a ‘ball’ on a picture that seemingly has many balls. You’re not sure which to click on, so you just end up having to click all around in a spastic nature.

Confusion: I don’t know what some of these items are supposed to be. (ex. French Press) The game has some unreasonable expectations about what you know about classic art, among other things.

Ripoff: No one should play this game, let alone pay for it. It’s not fun, and it’s extremely short to boot.
