nice and bloody, too bad this damn food cart is in the way

simply put i enjoyed the mindless piles of bloody signpost-through-head gags.  if you get a kick out of watching faceless ninjas get their asses handed to them by a burly gears of war type character, this game is for you.  i thought i would get bored after about half an hour of watching this cyborg man destroy the bones and blood vessels of these morons (seriously, if a guy has his arm replaced by a mechanical version with the special chainsaw add-on, he means business, run.)  but there was some charm that kept me grinding the a button to get to the next level.  probably because the next level usually had a room with dozens of saw blades vertically scaling the walls.  they did a good job with the style and all, but that's my opinion,  i know there are a lot of people who don't like cell shaded stuff so i wont dive into that.

one thing that did make me want to put down the controller was the damn camera.  it was really stiff, and you have to use the same button to lock on (which was also a very flawed feature).  there was one point in Asian town where i cracked a guys spine, but couldn't see the bloody ending because a food cart got in the way (hence my very practical title).  this happened on more then one occasion, usually caused by the corner of a wall, or a column of some sort.

last note, i appreciate the funny little levels where you do new stuff, like the motorcycle levels.  the thought was nice, but the execution was poor, there are only 2 moves you can do, a left punch, and a right chainsaw-to-face.  other then that, the guys on that level tend to just kinda blow up on their own....morons....

peace (ironic lol)
