kbd here to tell you the good and the bad of Mario Kart Wii in as few words as possible. ;)
The good:
+ 10 battle mode arenas (5 new and 5 retro)
+ 32 tracks (16 new and 16 retro)
+ a 26 character roster (12 available to begin with and the rest are unlockable)
+ bikes are a nice alternative to karts
+ online
+ stunts/tricks mix things up a little
The bad:
- AI can be cheap on higher difficulties
- Battle is team only
- Customisation options are limited
- Items are more unbalanced than ever
- Roster lacks variety (e.g. Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Baby Luigi, Baby Daisy, Dry Bones, Dry Bowser... etc)
