Gears of war a very original game. You play as Marcus Fenix. The story is very fast paced and interesting. You will find many feeling of overwhelming power as you maul through masses of enemies. The campaign leaves you room for a sequel. This story is carried with great support for online co-op. This extends the replay value to great extent as you and a friend can go through the war together. The multi player is fun, but the only complaint i have is that the weapons seem a bit to unbalanced. All players have a lot of health and it would take a substantial amount of luck to be able to take someone down with your standard issue rifle. Power weapons such as the boomer and the longshot (sniper rifle) seem to be over powered. The shotgun doesn't really feel like a shotgun due to its weakness. All in all this game is a great start for microsoft and i look forward to the sequel.
