Rise of the Tomb Raider's first DLC loses itself amongst glitches and poor quest design. The sequel's first DLC already has one thing in it's favor over any of the DLC for the 2013 reboot: single-player content. Unfortunately, Baba Yaga feels like all of it's resources were put into a couple -admittedly cool- set pieces, when what it really needed was some more time in QA. I found more bugs - animation glitches while exploring, getting trapped in areas where there was no way out except to load a checkpoint, and some truly PS1-era character animation during cutscenes - than I found during the entirety of the main game. Add to that a glitched respawn that had me hunting for nonexistent deer for 45 minutes, and an otherwise interesting tale of local folklore gone off the rails becomes somewhat of a letdown.
