Bordlands Never Bores

ONe of the most fun co-op games to come out since Rainbow Six Vegas, Borderlands has an excellent and addictive loot and level-up system that puts to shame what most games use for grinding. The weapons are all highly satisfactory with each character able to fine tune specific classes to themselves. The single player games can become a chore at times as the temptation to tackle more difficult jobs than your level allows can be frustrating, but once you play with a friend or two, all frustration vanishes. The co-op design is stellar, pure and simple. Where slogging away at scags alone become tedious, pairing up with another player with different abilities is unadulterated bliss.
The art design grows on you quickly and the though some of the animations can be stiff, there is a tremendous amount of style here.  Replay is a must.  If you're a fan of co-op, don't hesitate.
