Well this is the first written review. So hey if you wanna be harsh about it, know what your judging. I will first start with do i think you should buy this game no i don't think it has enough replay value. Second do i think this is a good game yes, i think this game falls under a good game worth playing and renting.
Why i think this, well first the way the games handles story is about what you would expect if you played the demo it's a lot of the style which has some cut seen style, others in game style. Also the game tries to bring you many elements from the comics. Maybe not as much as reading them, but still more then most games would. Theres about 3 stories being told in the game at the same time the main which you must play the game start to finish to get. Then the riddler challenges which i think where a nice touch. Then the interview tapes to hear or get insight into the inmates you now fight.
I think the best way to liken this game to anything is it's batman metriod in many ways. You go past story points and unlock more gear to go places you couldn't. however doing this allows you to then get points which are exp that then can be used to buy moves and upgrades.
Lastly and my most hated part of the game is the challenges which are 2 types a beat'em up challenge and another is a stealth, do this as fast as you can without dieing challenge. the stealth ones are i think are very fun and enjoy about challenge to get these 3 things done to the henchmen in this room. The beat'em ups however range from fun to just plain mean. The basic idea is to use as many varitions of moves to hit the henchmen while keeping your combo going. The only problem with this is that they then have 2 stages of this that break out of this line of thinking and ask you to do it in a time limit and then on top of that on a mulit stage map. Yes i know it shows by now @#$% that stage and @#$% whoever allowed mulit stage and time limit to make it into the same challenge.
I beat this game and got all achivments and my ideas of this game are it was fun in the story even on hard. The stealth challenges were fun for the just do this stuff and live. The beat'em ups were a challenge but some were straight bull.
I say the game is fun and if your looking for a good time this will give it to you as batman. But it's a rental and will only give it for so long. (rented for 1 week to 100%)
