Many others have already sung this game's praises in great detail, so I will simply say that all the hype surrounding this game is well deserved. The puzzles are mind-bending, but have just the right amount of challenge to keep you engaged without reaching the point of frustration. It does a great job of giving you the core tools (portal gun, liquids, tractor beams, etc.) and introducing you to new ways to use them. Couple this with a great storyline and clever, genuinely funny dialogue and you have a winning formula. I couldn't put this game down and finished it in two sittings. I also played the co-op mode with a friend and believe it is the most fun I've had playing local co-op in recent memory. The puzzles truly encourage teamwork and constant discussion and the rewards of watching your carefully planned strategy are memorable. I loved this game and would strongly encourage anyone to buy it. While having someone to play the co-op mode with is ideal, the single player mode is ten of the best hours of gaming I've had this year.
