Coming back to WWII

Back in November 2007, Infinity Ward and Activision released Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This game was purley fantastic in many ways. Also, It moved from the ol' World War II to the future. Now, a year has passed and Call of Duty: World at War was released. People higly anticipated this game since it moved back to the WWII theme and the array of weapons. But, this game is more deeper and more darker than the previous CoD games.

Gameplay:

Using the award winning Call of Duty 4 engine, Call of Duty: World at War gets everyones attention who loves WWII games and heard that CoD 4 was great. But, I found nothing new about the gameplay as it was the same as CoD 4. (just with different weapons). But when you complete the game, just as the same with CoD 4, you get a bonus mission. Just not to spoil the fun, I will not say the bonus mission.

Graphics:

As we all know, CoD: World at War is more darker and gritter than any other CoD game. In CoD 4, you see only blood. In CoD: World at War, you better hope you have a strong stomach. In CoD: World at War, Your body parts fall out and you get to see the "ooey-gooey" gore that hardcore gamers LOVE to see. Also, the graphics are great. Just as top-notch as CoD 4. Also, as CoD 4, the game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second, But the frame rate tends to drop in Split-screen Co-Op, but it's barley noticable.

Sound:

The voice acting is pretty cool. Though it may get tiring listening to Roebuck scream at everybody sooner or later, But hey, Your in a war. The soundtrack to the game is great too. Makes you think your royal to your country... (or maybe not.) To sum it up, the music is "Patriotic".

Overall:

The game won me over with it's Gameplay. I just gotten sick playing Halo all the time (I still like it though) and I wanted REAL guns and smooth gameplay, and did I get it, yes. I really recommend this game, but I prefer CoD 4 over this though and would recommend it over World at War, but It's still a pretty good game.
