The game is a bit old, but it still can cater to players who needs to release their megalomania from time to time. Evil genius was released way back in 2004, almost ten years old by the time of my writing. It is a single player game which the character is represented by an evil genius (you can choose three evil geniuses, each with their own special abilities ) who owns an evil lair underneath a mountain in an isolated island.

While the evil genius plots for world domination, the game gives you minions that can be trained in various positions in the hierarchy of evil. Also, minions has attributes in the game that can affect their well being; they can desert from your leadership. As an act of striking fear and cruelty, (as most evil genius longs for) the evil genius can execute a minion to raise the moral of other minions or if a player is merciful, he can use the evil genius to roam the underground lair since his presence can boost the moral of minion.

Like in the Austin Powers movies, the game gives the player special minion that has special abilities and cannot be killed by normal forces of justice, to counteract this agents of doom, the game presents a special agents from different parts of the world that can kill those special minions (this agents is unique AI that is loosely based on film characters and actors like Rambo and Bruce Lee ), in return the game challenge players to search the world for the weaknesses of these special agents in order to defeat them, if not, they will hinder your plans for world domination.

The goal of the game is world domination where your evil genius will rule the world after the player used the superweapon. In order to do so, you must get resources and large amount of gold by sending your minions all over the world to steal and to do acts that can increase your infamy.

If you like ruling the world with a side of antics, then this game is for you. And just to note this game has an online beta game also entitled Evil Genius, you can play the game on Facebook.
