God of War is an awesome game and rather than bore you with elaborate details as to why it belongs alongside the likes of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta as outstanding examples of a genre done right I'd rather tell you what frustrated me about the game:
- Carpal tunnel syndrome inducing button mashing.
Anyone who has played the game will know what I mean here and should you choose to purchase this game you will too. It's exhausting, occasionally feels cheap and when you hammer the circle button with all of your might to finish off an enemy only to be thrown to the ground in defeat as they counter your finishing assault.
2. Occasional onslaughts of enemies.

Some fights last way too long. It feels cheap to die not because you cannot defeat the simple foes that surround you but rather because after four waves of increasing numerous foes your health has deteriorated to a mere sliver and low and behold another group spawns. It's frustrating when it happens but only occurs a handful of times at most, so provided your willing to power through it should be a problem in hindering your progress or enjoyment.
So there you have my only problems with an otherwise fantastic game. I highly recommend that you play this game and may the Gods grant you strength should you dare attempt God Mode upon completing the game.
