Fifteen years after the game's release, Kingdom Hearts still tugs at the heart strings at crucial points, but the game itself can be stupidly frustrating. A sub-par (at best) camera and repetitive grinding make the game somewhat difficult to enjoy, but if you enjoyed it when it originally came out you'll probably still enjoy it now.
The campaign has the feel of some classic Mario games (the Koopa Clown Car alone is worth downloading the free first three levels of the game), and is a lot of fun, if incredibly short -- you can play through the entire campaign in about an hour. I've been playing NCAA Football 2004 for over a decade, usually when I'm drunk or stoned, often while listening to podcasts such as The Giant Bombcast.
