So to get two things out of the way, I am a skateboarder in real life and I do have a long history playing the Tony Hawk series. I really do greatly appreciate what skate. tried to bring to the genre -- a bit more realism and authenticity. But I admittedly just struggled far too much with the controls that in my opinion really asked you to be a little to precise at times for my liking.
I found myself really not enjoying the game, and having trouble just gaining proper speed for tricks, or even just casually hopping up curbs. I'll be the first to admit I'm probably more akin to playing arcade style skateboarding games, but I just found this one too difficult to enjoy.
