So this christmas, I got the Guitar Hero: World tour Solus, mainly because I already have Rock Band and the instruments for it, and partly because I can't use Guitar hero controllers, (Don't know why, they just feel weird).
So I went and shoved it in my xBox and started off on the guitar career on expert.

2 days later I was finished.
This in no way is meant to imply it's a bad game, the career is just a bit easy and short.
But I like the 'Book your own gig' section.

The character creator I was looking forward to, and ended up being a bit dissapointed.
The sliders do barely anything to the face and you always end up looking the same, unless you make yourself a girl, or extremely fat, or both.
But I did find the Guitar customisation good, being able to choose from different body shapes and headstock shapes and all that junk was a good sense of freedom.

The songs.
I didn't think most of the songs were really suited for this game.
In previous games you had bands like Metallica, Guns N Roses, Megadeth.
But in this you have more 'Old people' songs.
Stuff like 'The Joker' and 'On the road again'.
I didn't feel like a rockstar when I was playing them, I just felt bored.

And is it just me, or did GH seems to chuck in alot of 3 fret notes?

The gameplay had some sneaky little changes in it, such as holding down a note while you play others and on the bass you had a purple bar which was a no note strum.
I found these a nice change of pace.

As for Rock Band 2 vs GH:WT, I really don't mind either.
I've played both and they're pretty much the same.
So I'm not going to go into which is better.
