I completed the main story a week or so ago, and I have to say, praise is deserved for this game. It truly is a great game, and really goes head to head with some of the greatest Resident Evil games I played. It wouldn't be fair to say it's better than this RE game or not as good as that RE game. Its a GOOD GAME PERIOD! Worth your time, worth your money, and worth your effort. THe boss fights aren't perfect but god they're some of the best and most satisfying boss fights I played in any game for a long time! I won't spoil it, but there are some really epic bosses, and truly makes you feel like a badass after you kill them.

The horror is pure, and do not think of it as any ol' horror game like Outlast (Which isn't terrible) but it has so much variety and different ways to go about surviving the residence and even more. There's a great boat level which had some fun design and challenge after the middle of the story.

I don't usually care about graphics because I think gameplay is what makes or breaks a game. But Resident Evil 7 balances these two elements so well, the gritty decaying textures of the creatures, environments, along with the heavy gameplay inspired by all the Resident Evil games. The FPS was at first not my preference, but as you continue into it, it's a perfect choice for this game.

I'm excited for RE2 Remake, and can't wait to play it. In a time where videogames rip people off and give them ♥♥♥♥ instead of quality, the Resident Evil series has had a huge comeback and is treating it's fans with loyalty and respect. *I like all RE games, including 6, please don't hatez me brozzz*
