I bought this a few months ago for $25 or so, the Deluxe Edition, and finally got a chance to play it. Ignore the time played, I played offline most of the time because I travel alot.

I'm extremely shocked that this game has all these great reviews. Coming from a huge fan of the first Life is Strange (Why I immediately purchased this title), I think this game is utter garbage. I replayed the first game at least 6 times on the Xbox One since 2015 and it never got old, I deleted this and don't see myself going back. LiS 1 had so many interesting things happening at the same time, and felt well thought out, connected, and entertaining.

I get this isn't your usual full game, but it feels so cheap, fine maybe there were budget cuts, and yeah, I don't like the new voice actor AT ALL. SHE SOUNDS LIKE A FRIGGEN ROBOT! Devoid of any personality Ashely Burch gave Chloe. Most of the time the game feels awkward, lame, and lackluster. Now the first game had awkward dweeby moments that at times would feel forced, but that occurred maybe 15-25% of the entire game, and the rest was great. This is purely 85% bad acting, and don't get me started on the animation. It's even worse, stiff, and feels as smooth as a PS2 game. It takes away from the immersion.

It lacks any atmosphere or mystery, and feels like a teenagers wet dream more than a tool for storytelling. Cold fact, this game sucks, save your $ or get it free/on sale. Don't be fooled like I was, not that $24 is a big deal, but it was a ♥♥♥♥ investment.
