If you like a challenge, ludicrous speed and astonishing art decoration WipeoutHD is just the game for you. You won't have much fun in the beginning as a newcomer to the series, but once you get the hang of the controls and start to master the upper speed modes, there is nothing like it.
The beautifully crafted sceneries are done in astonishing detail and amazing design. All this flashes by at 1080p and 60fps, which, for me, makes it the best looking game I've ever played. I don't know who put up those pictures on the Wipeout infopage, but they look terrible in comparison to the real thing.
The gameplay and the controls are razorsharp, which coupled with the steep learning curve and high difficulty level, makes for a very exiting tip of your seat experience all of the time. This game will give you years of gaming pleasure, especially with the online mode, which is a blast.
Al this for 18 euros, or 20 dollars, is just an amazing deal. Best game on PSN, and possibly one of the best racers ever.
