Where do I begin? God of War is a unique take on action-adventure games as it integrates simple but effective combat with a powerful story of redemption. The variety of creatures from Greek mythos (e.g. the minotaur, medusa...) really makes the game enjoyable as it keeps each area fresh. The graphics are pretty impressive as well for the Playstation 2 system. Furthermore, the puzzles are clever to the point of being interesting and possible without you having to throw your controller at the TV. Kratos is the kind of anti-hero that makes the game fun to play in itself and there is a good reason why his skin is white. His epic feats (such as killing the hydra by pulling it into the mast of a ship) don't hurt his awesomeness either. To sum up you'll want to play this game because of the legendary mini-games that allow you to take down monsters easily, the interesting plot, Kratos, the fact that this will be a movie soon and it helps to be well-informed and yeah...it's awesome
