I am not usually the person that plays social games due to the fact that they constantly bombard your wall with different things and they send weird requests to all of your friends on Facebook. I recently saw this game though and I decided that it may be worth my time since I am really into these kinds of games. I was looking at some screenshots and the game had a cartoony art style so I thought that it may be worth looking at.
The game puts you in a small city (soon to become large and bustling) as the city mayor. You recieve an advisor that helps you out by giving you advice and pointing you towards different oppurtunities and goals, just like any good advisor would. You can create houses, stores, factories, and many other places of entertainment. You can also edit the environment by giving your city more trees and parks. Your stores and factories will generate simoleons (your currency) and energy for you to use. Your population is also a factor in the game. When you build more houses and places of interest, you can increase your population. The goal is to build a bustling city with lots of entertainment, commerce, and population.
That is really the only depth that the game has though. If you are looking for an in depth SimCity game, this is not the game you are probably looking for. The game also throws a lot of social aspects at you too. It constantly asks you if you want to post your completed missions and acheivements on your wall and it also asks you if you want to ask your friends for help. Most of the people on my friends list do not play this gams so I really was left in the dark when it comes to the feature of visiting other friend's cities. You can go to any city that one of your friends has built. You can go there to boost the rating of your city. I think this is probably one of the only social features I would use but it is a shame that no one I know plays the game. Anyway, if you are looking for something to do in your free time, delve into this game a little bit but don't expect much from it. Also, prepare to have your wall cluttered with more notifications from the game! If you are looking for an in depth SimCity game, I would suggest waiting out until the new SimCity game comes out!
