Fun and Addictive

Pros
  • Level up of different abilities works great
  • Finding orbs is very fun, have spent 5+ hours on multiple occasions just doing that
  • Great sandbox graphics and explosions
  • Good soundtrack, fits the game
  • Co-op is excellent, can be very fun with a friend
  • Very fun to fool around in the city

Cons
  • Story isn't interesting at all. Clean up the city of all the gangs.
  • The commentators voice can get very annoying, as well as some of the gangs voice acting.

Presentation

Good main menu and start menu. No cut scenes.  Decent artistic intro to the game. Pretty good videos which preview the upcoming gangs you must defeat and how it will effect your chances of defeating the king pin.

2.5/5

Graphics

Very nice unique artistic design. Explosions look great, shooting looks great, character models look fantastic. The game also has a great draw distance, important for an open world game. Very little drop in framerate.

4/5

Gameplay

Well it says in the preview text, very fun and addictive. Taking out the gangs is pretty fun, but the most fun you'll have is in finding the hidden orbs, playing co-op, and just exploring the city. It will take a long time to get old.

4.5/5

Sound

Decent soundtrack. Commentator's voice is annoying, as well as the gangs. Explosions and gun shooting is decent.

2/5

Online

Co-op is extremely fun online. Possibly even more fun exploring the city with a friend and seeing what you can do than just by yourself.

Lasting Appeal

One of the most addictive games i've ever played, will last you a long time.

Overall

As said many times before in this review, very fun and addictive. Something every 360 owner should experience. A must-have for fans of the open-world genre.
