This is one of the few NES games I actually owned back when the NES was popular and current. I remember never really being able to get past Level G (all of the levels were designated by letters instead of numbers, which was a nice touch; I got to learn my alphabet and play a game, too! At least, that's how I convinced my mom to let me play it).
Back then, it wasn't strange for a cartoon tie-in or movie tie-in to be good, so nobody was surprised when this turned out to be a really fun, genuinely challenging, playable piece of hardware. You got to play as both of the chipmunks, all of the characters in the show were in there, everything was hunky-dory. It was a TV show adapted perfectly into a game. Today? We have the LOST video game.
