Jamestown is a top-down shooter reminiscent of the classic games on SNES and the Sega Genesis. The plot of the story is to stop the Spanish Martian Conquistadors from their evil plot. This game takes an interesting twist on history and turns into a fun breathtaking work of art. The soundtrack in this game is... beautiful. The moment that I heard it playing in the background during battle I knew I would love this game. There are four different classes of shooters to choose from but you only start out as one. To unlock the others and extra content from the game you have to either play on harder difficulties or buy them from the store with credits that you collect during missions. The games main story is relatively short but it comes packed with a challenge mode and the "Gauntlet Mode" which allows you to play the game old fashioned by playing the entire story on a limited number of lives. I can assure you that this game is fun to play and allows for other people to play the game also as mouse, keyboard, and controllers can be hooked up to allow four players to play all at once. The game would have gotten 5 stars if it had a longer campaign but other than that I believe it to be well worth the money and the time to play.
