There are some great RPG's on the Snes. And then there's Lufia 2. The hero of the game, Maxim, is a monster hunter. He ends up having to fight demi-gods, or 'sinistrals'. Splatterhouse 2 was an awesome game. But one could argue the gameplay as 'mindless'. Splatterhouse does not that problem at all. The developers took the gore down a notch and beefed up the playability. Splatterhouse 2 for the Sega Genesis is a game that relies on one thing, and one thing only: difficulty. If you can beat this game, you should be proud.
