Terminator: Salvation, is a 3rd person shooter based on the movie of the same name (Yeah, you know where this is going...). Its follows the story of John Connor, a survivor of judgment day, trying to overcome the machine menace.
The graphics for this game are acctually pretty good in both night and day, the character models are what you expect from a movie game, though. But overall, the graphics are above average.
As for gameplay, though... UGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGH! Okay, to be honest, I'm not all that fond of the 3rd person shooter mechanic, but seriously, this game is REPETETIVE! Its pretty much; Shoot, advance, Shoot, Advance, Shoot, Advance, Survival/Car chase, Next level. Also, there is no variation in the enemies, theres T-7-T's, Wasps, T-500's, T-800's and 2 HK's (That includes the 2 bosses). But to be fair, it is the terminator universe. But the MAIN problem with this game is its LIFETIME, you wanna know how long this game is? Really? Uh... okay then... its 4 hours... No multiplayer... and no unlockables... yes you heard me... need I say more?
The sound? Well, the music's pretty good, after all, it is the Terminator theme... and the sound effects are okay, but the voice acting... OH GOD THE VOICE ACTING! Its awful! Seriously, Just listen to it yourself!
The verdict: Its was okay... Rent it if youre a fan of the movies... just DONT buy it!
