Marble Blast Ultra is another simple XBLA game that is quite addictive. You pick a marble to play as, and then roll around different levels trying to get to the exit as quickly as possible, or picking up a bunch of gems to complete the level. From the very start of the game, you have every level available to you. The game has three difficulty levels to choose from. Each difficulty has a different set of levels to play. It's hard to say why this game is fun, but trust me, it is. After racking up some single-player achievements, give multiplayer a try. This game surprisingly has a decent sized online community. In multiplayer, you race against other players to get as many points as you can before the time limit runs out. You get points by collecting either 1-point gems, or 5-point gems. There are also a number of power-ups such as increasing the size of your marble so you can knock other players off the level and into oblivion. There's also a helicopter upgrade, and a speed boost. Marble Blast Ultra is a simple, fun game that will keep you coming back for more.
